GIZ Thailand in collaboration with the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) organised the Reduce! Rethinking the Circular Economy: A Global Knowledge Exchange on SDG 12 Policy Tools in Bangkok in September. The event aimed to rethink how the circular economy can help solve the environmental crisis and how, by bringing together the global experiences and best practices from SDG 12-Sustainable Consumption and Production, global collaboration, green public procurement and ecolabeling that the circular economy can be further developed. The global knowledge exchange was hosted by the Thai Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and financed by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
