Germany’s Blue Angel ecolabel has doubled the number of its celebrity environmental ambassadors and envoys. The scheme was started in 2013, and now includes actors, music industry figures, media and sports personalities.
The gallery of ambassadors, all displaying personal statements that environmental protection begins with everyday shopping, now numbers 10. Federal Environment Minister Barbara Hendricks comments that an increased range of product criteria now makes it even easier to find the ecolabel on everyday products.
